About Us

Darlene's Hope came to fruition when our Sister and BEST FRIEND was diagnosed in March
'06 with Stage IV Colon Cancer. We needed someplace to keep everyone informed and
updated with her progress, so Darlene's Hope was created!

Unfortunately, Darlene lost her battle to this horrible disease on September 25th, 2006. Now,
this site will become an avenue that will provide hope, support, educational material as well as
upcoming events and news in our fight against this disease.

If, through this site and our advocacy we can help even one person, then this will all be worth it.
It was too late to save my sister, but in her memory and spirit, we will forge ahead with a
vengeance to bring about awareness to this cause.
